Bez posted the best score of the weekend with a +1 round of 35. Long and straight on the from nine with 20 points with two blobs. No blobs for his fifteen points on the back nine and no pars just the one birdie on the 18th. Like Steve and Paul the day before he took two of the match day prizes claiming captains combo. Paul H had a poor round but claimed his third prize of the tour with another nearest the pin prize. Steve kept himself in contention for overall tour champion taking second spot with a solid 29. Gez recovered well from his first day disappointment with a solid 29 points made up from a 14/15 split over the 18 holes. Two blobs in each half was the difference between third and challenging Bez for top spot. Tour debutant Sean W finished a creditable forth on a day where most golfers struggled. The short but straight hitter started off with only 1 point after 4 holes but recovered well with 5 pars over the last 14 holes. The course today played hard for most golfers with one or two struggling, luckily for us the quality of the course, facilities and scenery made it all worth while.
