Well foreign trip number 13 was another great success. This year saw some variation in the courses, with day 1 being in excellent condition and playing a little easier than the other two. It was the first course we have played twice abroad and was certainly worth it. Great weather (30 degrees hot and sweaty) no wind, very good greens and well managed fairways gave most people a feel good factor start to the tour. Massive variation on day two with the 40 minute travel west from our base being full of anticipation of what to expect from a reportedly cracking course. Unfortunately the reality was somewhat different. The portakabin style small clubhouse gave us our first glimpse of what we had to come. The postage stamp practice putting green was awful with heavy sand dotted in between the fungi riddled surface. What made things worse was the strong wind that gave everyone a big challenge on all holes. Saying all that the course layout was good and picturesque and only the last four greens were in really bad condition. Day three and last event saw another very hilly course but by far the best of the bunch. Really picturesque and in great condition this course had something for everyone. A little gusty on the back nine but the view and course layout made up for any inconvenience. The club house was  excellent but food very average. Overall a wide variation of conditions and courses which evened it out for everyone. Overall winner was Sean Wynne who was very consistent scoring in the 30s all three days. Although it was a close affair with only 3 shots separating the top 5 places. Congratulations to Sean on a great display.
