Today's course was more of a manufactured links course with water on almost every hole. Flat as a pancake and again beautiful weather. Again this course proved rather difficult for most with long carries from the tee, deep first cut, gauze bushes and lots of water. No one managed to get near to par with only two golfer breaking 30 and four golfer getting out the 20's. The pressure (or pleasure) of the Wyder Cup MatchPlay format continued to keep everyone interested most f the way round. Nico again had a solid round with 30 points and a Wyder Cup weekend winning streak. Rick recovered well after Saturday's self confessed tough round to finish in third place and

take 2 points for the Blues. 3 pars and two birdies helped but 3 blobs probably killed his chances of winning on the day. Second place went to Krys J who faired one point better that Rick. His round was very up and down. 5 blobs where backed up with as many 3 and 4 point scores for a round of 31. But the days winner and first match day win was Andy G. His tee shots where not quite working but he was hot with the irons making many approaches finish in and around the green. His chipping seemed to be behaving itself and solid with the putter gave him a 3 point clear lead with 34 points. he also competed the days best MatchPlay score with a 5&4 win over Sean A and added the icing on a good weekend by taking the days captains combo.
