Our final event of the year saw it end up hard work for everyone. It ended up one of our closest events with only 3 shots separating the top 13 places. So it was that missed putt, the fluffed chip, the poor drive that would have been the difference in taking top spot. There where three golfers that where cursing their luck by not scoring on the 18th which in the end proved  costly. Nico ended up on 32 and Leitchy on 33 and with a par would have taken top spot. But it was Krys Jilks that for the 4th time this year also blobbed 18th but had enough in the bag  to take the top spot on count back from Sean A, Craig W & Rob W who all scored 34 points. The greens proved hard work for many with quite a few putts being left short due to the wet conditions (See picture left).

A few golfers also lost balls in open play due to the falling leaves and the fact they had not been able to cut the grass. The OOM's ended up without incident due to the close nature of the days scoring, but the pairs championship was decided when defending champions John & Krys retained their title beating Steve & Sean 4 &2. Good to see a couple of the guys entering into the Christmas spirit early.
