WGGC Divisions 2006

Rules & Regulations        

  • Division 1 is made up of golfers with a handicap between 12 and 20 inclusive at the start of the 2006 season

  • Division 2 is made up of golfers with a handicap between 21 and 27 inclusive at the start of the 2006 season

  • Division 3 is made up of golfers with a handicap between 28 and 36 inclusive at the start of the 2006 season.

  • Each player will remain in this league for the entire season even if his handicap falls into another league category.

  • Movement up and down the  leagues will take place at the start of each season by the committee.

  • The final standings will be based on the best 6 out of the 8 golf days.

  • The winner of each division may be promoted to the division above at the end of each season.

  • The person finishing bottom of each division maybe relegated to the division below, subject to the committee.

  • In the case of a tie for the top spot, your average stableford score over the year will determine the winner. (Total number of stableford points divided by number of events you attend in total)
