A long old day for everyone. Up early for the flight from east Midlands (which left early and landed early) then onto the coach and direct to the course. We got there in time to get changed and have a quick snack before teeing off. The course was spacious and allowed well for any wayward tee shots. For the first tome in our tour history we got rain on a golf day, luckily it only lasted 2 holes then the good weather returned with it continuing to be quite muggy. The scores showed it was a good society course with almost a third of the field finishing on 40 points or more and all but one golfer everyone else in the 30s. Great win for Chris Shaw who stayed out of the limited trouble and took full advantage of some of the shorter holes.
