Day three was all to play for and it went down to the 18th. Paul H blobbed the last hole to hand the tour championship to James L who's 26 points on the front 9 set him up a treat with nothing less than a par. James's 44 points was his best of the season and on any other day would have gave him the winning score but Moving up into 3rd place overall and taking the day three Stableford was Graham S (pictured right) who notched a massive 50 points, good job for him we are not changing handicaps on tour because he would have moved down 8 shots. His round was made up of only 1 blob, 5 nett eagles and 8 nett birdies. Another season best round went to Chris Shaw who recovered well from only 3 points after 4 holes for a 2 under par 38. Lee Underhill had a 2 under par round which was 10 shots better than his day one score. Captain Pete slightly recovered after his bad start with only having 4 points after 7 holes but ironically was all square that to some gifts from John H. A good end to another successful tour with almost half the field playing better than their par and a handful of season best scores.
