Another good day for golf, overcast but not a breath of wind. The well laid out tricky course was a good test for everyone some 3 years since we where last here. Only 3 golfers broke par and a betting man might have got the treble. leading the way for his second victory of the year was Anthony H. His 3 under par 39 earned him a handicap cut down to 10 exactly right on the cusp of exact single figures. Back in second and one shot back was James H who has a nearly joined the single figure handicap club, with an exact of 9.8 (Playing 10). This was back to back scores under par pushing him to the top of many competitions. No blobs on his card but a single point score on the last hole cost him the win. back in third place was Chris Shaw with a on under par 37. His second consecutive 37 with one blob, think there is a big score on its way which could result in a move to division one during the close season. Some usual suspects take up the next handful of places, Paul N continuing his good form and consolidation his lowest handicap status. Brother Gez continues to turn in solid rounds and is only a few points away in the OOM. The rejuvenated Rick maintained a good summer spell of golf with a one over par 35, and Paresh continues to improve in his quest for Division 2 status. There are a few golfers who are just not playing enough to string scores together, these include the captain, Steve W, Rob W. Maybe they are saving themselves for the tour. Howard F continued his winning streak taking the captains combo with an impressive 10 points. Chris Shaw took the nearest the pin on 12, and woody claiming it ion the 17th, only just though. The captain actually ended up closer but it was 3 off the tee after over clubbing with an 8 iron straight into the trees at the back of the green.
