Captain's Combo: Sean Wynne (10)

A muggy day mixed with a very heavy down pour (for 2 holes) did not really affect a good day. The course was in great shape, good greens and the challenging but fair format of 6 par fives, 6 par fours and 6 par threes again proved a success with the majority having good rounds. Seven golfers broke par with Jason Carroll carding his best result to date in the society taking 4th place on count back from mister consistent (and challenging for society best golfer) Anthony H, both scoring 3 under par (39) Two golfers tied on an excellent 6 under par (42). Losing out on count back was Karl who notched his second score in the 40's this season (He will start to see his handicap index reducing for such high consistency) Remember its your average of the best 5 from the last 13. But the winner was Sean Wynne who warmed up for the tour to Portugal next week by taking the days honors with the Captains combo and a nearest the pin for a trio of wins on the day.
