Another successful visit to the Vale saw a course in great condition on a perfect day for playing golf. Although one of the longest courses we play (over 6500) it was kind with 6 par 5's and plenty of room for recovery from bad shots. This coupled with the high course rating gave many golfers an extra couple of shots with the new handicapping system. Overall a good scoring day with only 6 people breaking par. Nice to see over 80% of the field in the 30's. Three golfers ended up in the 40's with Chris on 41 but he left so much out there it could have been embarrassing. No such misfortune for Anthony or Dave who both carded 43 points (7 under par) The low gross from both of them came down to putting, and it was Tommo that took the honors with a slightly better back 9.
