It was a chilly, breezy but dry day as we embarked on our 2015 season with a par 3 warm up event at Nailcote Hall. The course is very tight with small green covered by plenty of bunkers and water so accuracy was the flavor of the day which unfortunately most people left at home. Tommo was the only golfer to break the 30 barrier with 33 and took the event for the second year running. Back in second place was Gez with 29 and in 3rd place was Steve W with 26. Most others golfers struggled with the tightness of the course and the fact it was the first time they had picked up a club since last November. But even though this is not an official event a special mention goes to Paddy who recorded the lowest 18 holes Stableford score with 6 points.
