AGM 2018

Our 2018 AGM took place Saturday January 5th 2019 at Red Lion Public House.

      Handicap Reviews

 

       The Committee reviewed all the handicaps in detail and made the following adjustments. (4 Golfers down & 10 go up)

  • James Heathcote goes down to 8.1 (-1.0)

  • Anthony Wale goes down to 22.4 (-0.3)

  • Andy Whittaker goes down to 22.0 (-0.4)

  • Graham Aulton goes down to 23.0 (-0.4)

  • Andy Gordon goes up to 27.5 (+0.6)

  • Mark Cassels goes up to 34.0 (+2.0)

  • Peter Shaw goes up to 16.5 (+0.3)

  • Dave Wiggett goes up to 15.5 (+0.8)

  • Paresh Patel goes up to 15.3 (+0.8)

  • Chris Shaw goes up to 21.0 (+0.5)

  • Lee Underhill goes up to 26.2 (+1.0)

  • Jim Cunningham goes up to 21.5 (+0.5)

  • Rick Batchelor goes up to 15.1 (+1.0)

  • Ian Hammond goes up to 29.5 (+1.0)

  • Gary Ewing awarded a society handicap of 18.0

Leagues

  • Division One to Two handicap split is 16

  • Division Two to Three handicap split is 22

  • Jack Davies moves up into Division 1

  • Gary Ewing joins Division 2

  • Peter Shaw moves down into Division 2

  • Andy Whittaker moves up into Division 2

  • Graham Aulton moves down into Division 3

  • Krys Jilks moves down into Division 3

Nearest the Pin points for the Grand Prix changed from a flat 15 points to the following structured format;

 

Division 1 player = 10 points

Division 2 player = 15 points

Division 3 player = 20 points

     "Andy Leitch Mr Blobby Special Prize" to be awarded for the 2019 season and retrospectively for last season (most blobs for every event   

     of the year) Receive £30 voucher. (Present top 10)

     Note to Review the Leitchy Cup format for 2020 – dependent upon scores (Felt it might be favouring the division one golfers)
